Puppy Registration

This puppy is sold with LIMITED registration. Breeder/seller certifies that puppy/dog is eligible for AKC registration under the regulations of AKC as a purebred Golden Retriever and will provide the proper form for such registration of the puppy/dog. Buyer is required to register the puppy/dog with AKC within 30 days of purchase (additional fees from AKC may apply).

Vet Visit Requirement

Breeder/seller warrants that puppy is in good health at the time of transfer of ownership. The puppy has received age appropriate vaccination and deworming. The buyer agrees to have the puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 days of from the date of transfer of ownership. Failure to have puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 days will void the health guarantee

Health Guarantee

Breeder/seller guarantees the puppy/dog until 24 months of age against developing any life threating genetic diseases, hip dysplasia, heart defects, or blindness. If any of these problems are diagnosed by a licensed veterinarian buyer will provide test results, x-rays and vet diagnose to breeder/seller for a replacement puppy. Breeder/seller will replace buyer puppy free of charge with in (1) year with of the same value and gender. To qualify for a replacement, buyers puppy/dog must not have sired or whelped a litter. Buyers puppy must be returned to breeder/seller with the puppy/dogs AKC registration certificate signed by buyer transferring ownership back to breeder/seller at time of replacement. If buyers veterinary recommends having puppy/dog euthanized due to a genetic disease or defect or for any reason breeder/seller must be notified first. Heath agreement for death due to congenital disease will be void if the puppy is euthanized with out the breeder/sellers consent. A written and signed statement is to be obtained from two licensed veterinarians from two (2) different clinics as proof of genetic defects.

Not Covered

This health agreement does not cover cosmetic defects such as but not limited to hernias, bad bite, coat color, or size. Hypoglycemia, worms, parasites, coccidia, giardia, hot spots, kennel cough, and other stress related illnesses that are treatable are not reasons for return. Breeder/seller is not responsible for the development of faults, diseased, or disorders that can be prevented by proper healthcare and nutrition. There is no cash refunds and the breeder/seller is not responsible for any veterinary bills after purchase.

DNA testing

Breeder/seller reserves the right to acquire DNA testing to determine proof of parentage. Breeder/seller reserves the right to have puppy/dog re-examined by our veterinarian at our cost if diagnosed with problems covered in this health agreement

Full Breeding Rights

Breeding a puppy/dog (stud or whelping) is ONLY authorized if buyer purchased FULLregistration and has a contract agreement between Fox Ridge English Goldens and buyer. Breeding (stud or whelping) puppy/dog for any reason voids this health agreement.

Housing Conditions

The buyer agrees puppy/dog will be adequate shelter and housed securely. Puppy/dog will not be neglected or mistreated in any manner. This puppy/dog will not be restrained by chaining or tying to a stationary object (tree, post, ect). Puppy/dog will receive proper veterinary care through its life time, receiving appropriate vaccinations. Puppy/dog will receive proper nutrition and not be allowed to become overweight. Buyer will groom, train and care for puppy/dog in a manner consistent with high quality husbandry.

Spay/Neuter

Buyer agrees not to spay or neuter puppy/dog before 18 months of age. Spaying or neutering puppy/dog voids health agreement. Buyer agrees to spay or neuter dog between the ages of 18 and 24 months

Return of Puppy

To notify the seller/breeder first, if for ANY reason buyer is no longer able to keep puppy/dog at any time in puppy/dogs lifetime. Puppy/dog will be returned to seller/breeder at anytime in puppy/dogs lifetime if buyer determines not to keep puppy/dog at no expense to seller/breeder

Liability Release

To forever hold harmless the seller/breeder Ken and Dindy Wesenberg and his/her immediate family and/or all persons and entities associated with the seller/breeder generally and specifically from any and all liability from death, personal injury, or property damage resulting in any way from this puppy/dog or buyer ownership of this puppy/dog

Stated Guarantee

No guarantees or warranties, expressed or implied or given by Fox Ridge Goldens (Ken and Dindy) the seller/breeder, except those stated herein
